Slope Fill Kit (SFK)

Pro Tip :

When installing your kitchen on concrete or paver patios most likely the surface will slope away from your home.  Since all Grillnetics cabinet have leveling feet, when installing on a slope always start installing at the highest point moving towards the lowest point.  If you have more than 3" of slope by the time you get to the end of the run, I suggest looking at stair stepping at some point between to Cabinets.  At 3" your counter top surface will be pushing in on 40" which starts to feel uncomfortable.  Since the leveling foot adds about 3/4" in height to the cabinet when I encounter this I will take out the leveling feet on the first cabinet to start as low as possible.

How to determine Slope on your patio:

If you have a bubble level set it on the surface and measure the Gap on one end.  If you level is 2' long and your measured gap is 1" we know we have 1/2" of slope per Ft. of run.

If this was the case and you have an 8' cabinet run your gap will be 4". That a little more than I prefer so is there a spot I can stair step down or a different location to install the kitchen.

Sometimes it makes sense to tear out the old surface and redo with the kitchen layout in mind.

Installing the slope fill kit

If your gap is minor most likely your finish material will carry down to the surface.  I always try to leave an 1/8" gap for water to drain out from underneath the kitchen

Cut away 1" of the Perma-Base on the bottom of the cabinet, cut the slope fil to the taper of the slope and glue and screw with supplied screws.
